Description
2010/2011 Red wine

A delightfully fruity Rioja at a very reasonable price.?Rioja is the foremost, and probably most recognised wine region in Spain. 80% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha & 10% Mazuela/Graciano. Crianza literally means "breeding" or "upbringing" and refers to being oaked. We will probably take on the unoaked version and the Reserva versions too, but we are starting off with the Crianza.

Tasting notes
We love it's deep red colour, ripe fruit aromas and hints of oakiness. A robust wine suitable for roast meats, game and strong cheese.

Provenance
Spain

ABV
13.5%

Warry Warble
It was actually a disease in Bordeaux that drove many vignerons into neighbouring Spain to ply their trade, in the late 19th century. Interestingly they continued with tried and tested winemaking methods, selling their wine back to the French. No mean feat!
